Also, since drinking water is compatible with every single diet (fad or otherwise) and is important for people who use diet pills (especially pills like Xenical Generic or Meridia), it&#8217;s important to review some of the ways we can make sure to get more water in us…on a regular basis.</p>
<p><strong>Here are ten tips for better water drinking: </strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Drinking water is not just something you should do when you work <a href="http://www.dreamalean.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/water-diet.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-344" title="water diet" src="http://www.dreamalean.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/water-diet.jpg" alt="" width="79" height="119" /></a>out. You should drink 8 cups of water every day, no matter what you&#8217;re doing. Even if you are spending all day sitting on the couch doing nothing (which, by the way, is never a good plan). That being said, if you ARE going to be working out, you need to make sure that you drink more than your usually 8 cups.</li>
<li>Drinking water is not just something you do when it&#8217;s hot outside. It&#8217;s not uncommon for people to get dehydrated when it&#8217;s freezing cold out. Because they&#8217;re not thirsty, they&#8217;re less inclined to drink—but your body still needs those precious 8 cups! Yes, you need to drink more water in the summer, but you still need to drink lots in the winter.</li>
<li>Carry around a water bottle with you at all times.</li>
<li>If you can&#8217;t stomach drinking all that water, add some sugar free drink mix to it, like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Light" target="_blank">Crystal Light</a>, to make it more palatable.</li>
<li>Water down juices to lower their sugar content and increase their water content.</li>
<li>Eat more soup.</li>
<li>Drink more herbal tea.</li>
<li>Drink LESS coffee! Yes, a cup of coffee has water in it, but it is not hydrating. In fact, for every cup of caffeine that you consume, you should always compensate by drinking two cups of water.</li>
<li>Drink a glass of water when you wake up in the morning and one before you go to bed at night.</li>
<li>Encourage your kids to drink water instead of juice or soda.</li>

<p>A more efficient digestive system means that your metabolism will work more efficiently. You&#8217;ll eat food, you&#8217;ll digest it, and then you&#8217;ll expel the waste out with your frequent bowel movements. This will help you lose weight. People who don&#8217;t get enough fiber in their diets often end up with what&#8217;s called a sluggish bowel. A sluggish bowel will not only leave you feeling bloated and likely tired, but will store food inside your system for longer, making it more difficult to lose weight fast.<br />

With every serving of soup you eat, you&#8217;ll be getting a dose of veggies.</li>
<li>Mix vegetables into your hamburgers or make your own veggie burgers from scratch. You can easily add a serving of spinach, mashed broccoli, peas, sweet potato, corn, or pretty much any other vegetables into your ground beef patties. They&#8217;ll add a fresh burst of flavor and fresh burst of health. Look online for veggie burger recipes and skip the beef altogether. (This also applies to meatloaf.)</li>
<li>Stock up on humus, or other healthy dips. No one wants to snack on plain carrot sticks or celery, but dip them in homemade humus and you&#8217;ve got yourself quite a tasty snack</li>
