    If you’re looking for a detox diet, the fruit flush is a great way to cleanse your system and get rid of those irritating toxins. The goal is to relieve symptoms including bloating, fatigue, irritability and carbohydrate addiction. The point of this diet is not quick weight loss, or a quick fix, rather, it’s to get your body to a new starting point so that you can create new habits and maintain long-term fitness through a healthy, well balanced diet.

    As with any detox diet, these three days can be tough. Expect your energy levels to drop a bit, and don’t plan on going to the gym or doing any heavy weight training or aerobic exercise.

    How the diet works:

    Day 1: It’s all about protein. Drink a protein shake five times throughout the day at two hour intervals. Then for dinner have a salad with raw vegetables, a lean protein, and fat such as olive oil or avocado.

    Days 2 and 3: Here’s where the fruit comes in. Instead of a protein shake every two hours, on days two and three, have a serving of fresh fruit every two hours and then a dinner of salad with raw vegetables and olive oil or avocado and a protein shake for dessert.

    Day 4: Congratulations! You finished your detox and can now begin your new healthy diet plan. To help get you started, try taking a diet pill like Phentermine, it will curb your appetite as you introduce regular solid foods back into your system. Make sure to drink plenty of water and choose from nutrient rich foods as you slowly get your body readjusted. Listen to your body, and control your portions. Eat when you are hungry, and even more important, don’t eat when you’re not hungry.
